The boot capacity with seats varies between 6- 7liters depending on whether the third row of seats is present and folded down or is not present. You can flip the rearmost seats down to carry longer items and fold all but the front seats away to safely store a few bikes or some giant-sized flat-pack furniture. The S-MAX has a flexible interior, too, thanks to rear seats that can be folded individually to create more load space.

With the seven seats in place, there is 2litres worth of boot space for you to play with. This may not sound like a lot, but you can still get taller, more awkward items, such as suitcases in the rear with little issue. With the seats folded down, there’ s 6litres of space to play with, as well as useful extra features like cargo nets and hooks.

In the long run, this will enhance the resale value of your vehicle and save you money on cleaning the boot space of your car.
