Giulietta review
Even the post-war perio. Check specs, prices, performance and compare with similar cars. This car, a stylish hatchback replacing the 14 is entirely predictable. What is the importance of the Giulietta?
Is the Giulietta a good car?
On the other han the Giulietta is a fairly decent car to drive enthusiastically down twisty roads. That firm suspension means there’s little in the way of body roll and the steering is direct and fast, giving the car a sense of agility.
Noise is well controlled. Giulietta drivers will also have to put up with a slightly uncomfortable driving position, despite some built-in adjustability, with badly positioned pedals and a high-set steering wheel. JTDM diesel have been tested under the latest WLTP test procedure. Modest facelift, new specs.
Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1. Called TCT, it paired very well with the 168bhp diesel, providing slick and smooth. If you opt for leather, the surfaces are also quite soft, and potentially vulnerable to careless hands.
The chunky hind quarters mean you need to move up from the basic 16in rims but the rear three-quarter view is. Inside, the dashboard and centre console are both stylish and feel high. The steering is also another weak area. Now it gets Euro 6D-compliant engines, a new trim structure and some extra options.
Time, perhaps, to give this car another look. Residual values aren’t as strong as those of German rivals, but generous dealer discounts. The hot hatch sector is a pretty unfriendly place anyway, with the mind-boggling talents of the Golf GTI, the superb handling of the Renaultsport Megane and the surprise all-round abilities of the. The company celebrated its centenary in that year and wanted a model with a bit of charisma to act as a marker to progress.
A beautiful, entertaining and fundamentally different hatch. Great looks and a sharp drive. Could have given more information on the car that the Giulietta was blockaded in the Alfetta. The car has all the usual acronyms ABS, VDC, ASR!
Anti lock brakes, vehicle dynamic control and Traction control and also has a hill holder. Overall car review rating 3.
TCT automatic gearbox, which is plenty for most drivers. Whether the Italian company can build a true rival to the GTI you can discover just to the right. Here, though, we have the slightly more affordable. The Giulietta - aided by 3Nm of torque - can get from 0-62mph in 10.
Really, this car goes up against the Renault Megane, not the Audi A3. The MultiAir engine is still a star. Giulietta is the hangover of the parts bin age, thankfully Giulia and Stelvio have 100% exclusive interior parts.
Probably one of the ugliest to my eyes honestly. A reputation for poor reliability. Two models were available at the launch of the Giulietta, the base model and the QV, both with petrol engines.
The JTD diesel version joined them a year later.
