The site, The Old Rose Garden, has an informal layout – no lines of designated pitches but a variety of small private spaces in amongst the mature trees and shrubs with a central open communal space. Technically it is illegal to wild camp anywhere (Scotland and Dartmoor are the exceptions it is actually legal to wild camp in any unenclosed area there). Practically though, wild camping is tolerated in most wild areas (unenclosed remote areas like the "Breacons"). Camping as it used to be! It includes the formidable Black Mountains, forests and moorland.
The park accommodates caravans, motorhomes, and tents. It also has some static caravans available for hire. The site also has a shop and pub, and the usual facilities.
This site combines the convenience of on-site facilites with the remote peaceful tranquility of the Welsh Countryside. Please note we can not accept Caravans. The camping season for Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme groups starts and ends with British Summer Time (BST). The family run site is just miles away from the historic town of Brecon with plenty of activities to offer.
