About Surrounded by mature oak trees, the acre garden consists of a series of arced borders planted in the naturalistic style. Small paths within the borders encourage exploration through swathes of flowering plants and grasses permanent sculpture collection and exhibited sculpture throughout the season. From the wilds of Rajasthan, to the quiet beech wood valleys of Luxembourg Paul and Pauline McBride have been creating gardens for over years. Inspired by their time working in Luxembourg with the world renowned Dutch landscape designer Piet Oudolf, Paul and Pauline have put their own very British twist on the Dutch new wave perennial style of planting in. Large numbers of plants in impressive drifts are one of the unique features of this garden, as well as the huge variety of unusual grasses and rare perennials.
